Hi Tom,
        The outside door window wiper I got from the vendors was too long 
also.  I was told just to cut it down because thats the way they came (too 
long).
        To replace the door track fuzzy runner you are going to have to remove 
the window and I would remove the track I think its held on by a couple of 
screws-the wing window comes out along with it. Then I jsut pried up the old
runner test fit the new one and glued it in with black silicone glue and clamped
it in place for a couple of days.
