In the late 70s early 80s the local Datsun/ Nissan dealer 1st sold roadster
parts at 60% off list to dump them... I bought $300 worth... the rest went
into the dumpster. My high school bud worked there as a mechanic and
brought me a whole lot more than my $300 worth. New tinted high wshield in
box, water pumps, etc... Claimed they did not have a market for them... more
demand for Z parts and they needed the shelf space.
Hard to believe.... Not the Twilight Zone...

Yeah, I e-mailed with him when they were for sale. He relisted his
Patrol speedo because no one bid on it. I can't imagine there are NO
Patrol owners interested in low-cost NOS NLA parts!
But I do find that some of the parts on eBay (like the gas grommet,
less than $7 from Rallye) are a bit overbid - it's bid up to over $12
right now.
