Hello All,
Well, things are shaping up for the March 17th Bouqet Canyon Rd. run! This
is an all Datsun event. I have invited the Z club of San Diego and the Group
Z people to come. I only wish I had more 510 contacts. I am expecting a good
turnout. Come on out roadster owners and let's have the best run ever. This
will be a perfect tune up for Solvang!
For those of you who didn't make the Bouqet Canyon run last year, you missed
out one of the funnest roads ever for driving. Sweeping twisties and a
beautiful drive around the reservoir. We'll stop for lunch at the stone
restaurant and have a great time.
Because I have invited people from all over, we are going to meet at 10:30
am and then run at 11:30 am. Even if you don't want to come on the run with
us, come to the meet and let your car be seen! Those not going on the run
can hang at the Starbucks and enjoy their cars.
To get to the meeting place, take the I-405 north into the San Fernando
Valley. When you get to the 118 freeway, take that West towards Simi Valley.
Exit Balboa Ave. (about 2 miles). Turn left on Balboa and head down to
Chatsworth Blvd. Turn right and head over to Zelzah St. Keep going straight
and at the next light you will see a Stabucks coffee house on your left.
Find parking, get coffee, enjoy the cars and Victor's enthusiasm. I heard
tell of a rumor that Victor will be bringing out his 1972 240Z. For a guy
that lives, breathes and bleeds Datsun Roadsters, this should be an event!
So come out folks! Enjoy the cars! Enjoy the drive! Enjoy the coffee and
enjoy each other. Life is too short not to drive a Datsun!
