Hi guys,

A few weeks back (maybe longer) I asked for some help re. missing on no. 3.
The most popular theory (given the symptoms) was a slightly loose
distributer shaft. It does have a little movement in it. Now, no progress
has been made since then, for financial reasons (had to pay for little
luxuries such as food, rent, etc.) But I'm ready to revisit the problem.

Now, I mentioned the theory to Lou Mondello (local roadster guru) and he
said that if the loose dizzy was the problem, then it was likely that the
dwell would be all over the place. Is this the case? Obviously, a timing
light on no. 3 would show any "wobble", but what about the dwell? Any
thoughts?

Cheers,

Steve McCartney
