One in a billion. New car, new belts, apparently failed in the webbing, not
near an attachment point. Go figure.

Too bad the Intimidator had his belts fail him.

Praise be for seatbelts. I just got back from collecting my girlfriend from
hospital... thankfully she's alright. She lost control of my Datsun 100A at
about 60-65mph trying to avoid some drunk asshole on a bicycle (who had no
lights in the dark) spun the car 180 degrees, across the road then a 3/4
roll into a four foot ditch...the car came to rest on it's side. Thank god
for the strength of Datsuns...she walked away without any major injuries
(more than can be said for the car) I hate to think if he hadn't had her
belt on.

Sad to lose one of my collection but very happy to still have my girlfriend
:-)
