Thanks for all the feedback. I do have excel & will be doing a gear by gear
calculation / comparison. I will post my results when done. (probably on the
wknd.)
Phillip - Harrass that guy with the high mileage SR20 & see if you can get him
down to a price that works for you. When rebuilding a motor you can take
advantage of things like port matching, cc'ing the chambers, maybe some
lighter aftermarket parts ;-) , In the process you can gain both horsepower
and efficiency. Check out the price of parts beforehand though, that could
just make it too expensive.
