Manzolini for about 10 years, and made the national runoffs around 5 times.
is
in the participant lists for '72 and '78 runoffs on Rob Beddington's site.
Dave lost most of his pictures and records in a house fire many years ago.
says he turned almost 1 minute flat at Lime Rock back in the '70's and also
beat BRE's TransAm lap record at Mid-Ohio. I own the car and would like to
eventually set it up to vintage race. picked it up with no drivetrain or
differential, but have a second race car with BRE prepared engine and could
do
some swapping around. one list member (sorry, I forget who) once e-mailed me
that his dad used to run a Yenko Stinger against Dave, and that this car was
 "VERY fast"
any help in coming up with some more documentation would be appreciated.
according to Dave, this was the lightest car Bob Sharp had ever seen, and he
had access to the factory FIA cars. the chassis was so flexible that he " had
to make up a special rollcage to stiffen the chassis and suspension "

Hi Craig and list

The only #49 car that I have pics of were the mystery orange race car posted
around a month ago - I had been looking to do a piece on Dave and his car and
have more of Dave's SCCA Runoffs records - is this the car?? Check out URL:

If this is the car I may have one or two more pics which may be of interest.
If anyone has any other info on Dave/his car I'd be pleased to hear it.

In the meantime I have received around 20 other racing roadster pics since my
last post, from various sources including some great pics of Bob Studdard's
'87 victory race, a couple of fantastic pics of Ken Glasener in one of the
ex-BRE cars, and others from various runoffs.

Watch this space

Happy Holidays/Xmas/New Year
