Dave's car WAS fast, and I saw it turn lots of 60-61s laps at LRP in the
1970s.  Dave had a bit of a Gilles Villeneuve driving style, too.  Lotsa
power on tap.

Does the car still have any of its electronics?  Dave worked at Rome AFB
and short of an X-plane, this car had the most onboard data capture and
telemetry of anything racing at the time.  The car was swiss cheese on
the inside and had conformal water tanks and foam blocks in the rear
(plus the tube frame) for balancing and stiffening.  

Mark Coffin's dad was the Stinger pursuit driver, IIRC.
