Fred, your setup was incorrect and I apologize for not providing the
instructions along with the product. Twin cones will certainly increase
airflow but the current single cone design has been developed for the stock
Solex U20 motor. If you were to splice the hose for an additional cone you
would need to add another filter for the increased air pressure. I must
remind you that BADROC has the testing rights but we are not allowed any
development rights. A mesh filter would certian keep out debris. I would
suggest a mesh type grill.
