I got my first Roadster when I lived in Alexandria Virginia. For the first
year, all that I had was a tonneau cover and a top frame with the remnants
of a top (I had to cut the windows out as they were almost black!) I drove
in the bad snowstorms of the 82 that way and LOVED it!! I also recall
driving home from college for Thanksgiving and hearing that the temperature
was 29 degrees and dropping - I was going north and had another 3 hours of
driving ahead of me! At that time, I had a hardtop - but it was on my bed
in the dorm room!!
Gotta love cold weather roadstering!!
