Another approach: with the plugs out and the valve cover off, squirt a little oil in the cylinders and on top of valve assemblies. Then just spin the motor with the starter until you get a good oil pressure reading on the gauge. Stop, let everything settle and repeat once or twice. Works just as well, especially if you used assembly lube on the crankshaft and connecting rods. Bob Porter 70 1600 |
