squeaks

I need help with a diagnosis.  My '70 roadster has so many squeaks emanating
from the suspension (front, I believe) it's almost embarrassing. Shocks?
Springs? Bushings? All of em? None of em? The car had a lube job right after
I bought it and it didn't seem to make any difference, though I'll bet it's
due for one again.  I'm told the car has newer front shocks and has been
lowered two inches in front.  Anyone ever face a similar squeaky fate?
Should I buy a gallon of WD40?
