I got a similar leather wrap years ago that was slightly too big in the
dimension you're talking about . it makes a small ridge on the inside of
the wheel that i don't find objectionable. I've been wondering about
getting some of that thin foam tape that I've seen on bike handlebars and
wrapping the wheel with that, then using the leather cover over. Would
this make the outside Diameter too big?
