Steering Wheel Cover

With all this talk about steering wheels, thought I'd ask:  Anyone have a
good suggestion for a cover for the steering wheel on my '70 1600?  Thought
leather would be good, bought one from a catalog and it was too big for the
diameter of the wheel that your fingers wrap around (~3/4").  My wheel is
black plastic and is cracked in several places and thought a nice cover
might be a good solution to replacing it.
