I know the Ford Windsor V8 is lighter and narrower than the
Chevy smallblock but is it as much as 220 lbs? For those with
the unlimited budget, a complete McLaren/BMW V12 is 477 lbs.
A complete aluminium BMW V12 with 2-valve heads is 585 lbs.
Otherwise Nissan list the first VG30ET engine complete at
431 lbs. The L28ET at 455 lbs. The R engine at 342 lbs.
The aluminium Rover (Oldsmobile) 215" V8 is 355 lbs with
2 SU-carbs as it was used in the MGB that we (dont?)
like so much on this list.
