I would like to thank all that responded to my posting. i took the alternator
to an auto electric shop today and had it tested, turns out they sold me a
bad unit. asked the gentleman about the one wire unit ,he went to his parts
rack and came back with a one wire alternator needs less to say i bought it
and took the other one back to the parts store ran home with my new
alternator installed it started the car it works just fine. Now it looks like
I will be at mid Ohio weekend.
