Few thoughts on the Brakes:
Does anyone know of a source of the R4S Pads for the Roadster?
There are different R4 compounds, the R4S not needing to heat
up and are good for street.
Also look into the high performance Carbon Fiber pads. They
do not attack rotors like the metallic metal mater pads, are
are darn near impossible to fade.
You want to keep the weight off the front wheels! The lower
the unsprung weight, the better. Admitted you could use a
trick Wilwood four pot lightweight caliper for RACING ONLY.
(no dust seal, I would not use them on a street car... unless
you limit the mileage and rebuild them often!).
The Brakes on the roadster are good brakes, but admitted 40
year old technology. Ironic thing is with MODERN brake pads,
they are still DARN GOOD BRAKES! ;-)

P.S. One of kids in the neighborhood has a nice '93 240SX.
Fairly quick car, and nice daily driver for High School.
He was asking me about SUPERCHARGER KITS to install. He has
about $5000 to improve the car. Told him I would look into
it. Sigh, I would much rather see him put the $5000 into
a Bondorant Race School! Sadly I have seen two families
loose teen age daughters in the last few months. Both were
killed in car accidents (one was too fast, slide a truck
into a concrete pillar; other was a driver who pulled into
on coming traffic. Both girls were passengers in the wrong
place and the wrong time.)
