My old 1967 1600 had the ignition switch on the steering column. I checked all
the magazine articles I have for the low screen 2000 and they all show a column
mounted ignition switch. I have seen a 1966 model 1600 that was stamped 'year
for model 1967', so it may be one of these change-over models.
Before you guys worry too much about what side the ignition switch goes on you
should do something about putting the steering wheel in the correct side ;-)
