John,
    I have secured plane tickets and hotel accomodations ($$$ - they really 
screw ya) and sent my ticket request in last October.  Tickets will 
apparently be issued via some sort of mock lottery.  So who knows if I will 
actually get tickets through regular channels.  BUT, because of the steep 
investment in travel and room, I will probably go to a ticket reseller 
(scalper) if I don't otherwise get them.  It would be fun to get together 
with other Roadster owners at the race.
