I totally agree!
When the miata first came out (and the "newness"of the Miata still existed),
my roadster was in an accident and my insurance paid
for a rental car that was a "similar car". So I picked up a "red convertible
two seater" aka a miata (took a while to explain that
one to the insurance agent! <grin!>)

Had that puppy for a week and a half and I think I ended up giving rides to
half of the chicks in Portland.

"Go to Salem (50 mile one way trip) for an ice cream cone?" No problem
"Beach trip for lunch?"  Hey, I got time

Ended up missing most of my classes that week.

Definitely a chick car! <grin!>
