I've seen too many foam filters literally dry up and blow away, plus Rob 
has an excellent point. You could get the air horns from TWM and get K&N 
filters from APT. APT has some very nice billet stubby horns, too. If you 
stay on top of the condition of the foam on the ITG and are willing to 
spend whatever it costs to replace it regularly, it can work well.

Regarding your earlier post about Solexs, RPM, torque and power, a while 
ago Marc Sayer posted an excellent comparison of flow in SU's and Weber 
that gives a good backgound about air flow. I'll dig it out and send it 
to you when I have more time. Definitely something to be kept.
