I'm interested in this also, because I may be attempting my first rebuild
of a R16 soon, after having done my U20. I used L series books as guides on
my U20. Don't know what's available for the R16's.
The R16 is not OHC. There are two flavors. The early ones are 3-mains, and
the '68 and later R16's are 5-mains. I've heard that parts are harder to
come by on the 3-mains, so they're more expensive.
