1965 SPL310 Transmission Question

Quick Question. On the 1965 1500, where is the transmission filler plug 
located? On my old '63 there was a dipstick on the top of the 
transmission. But on the 65, it is located elsewhere.

Is the filler plug on the 65 1500, the same location as the 1600 on the 
driver's side (Left hand Drive) of the trans?
