Na, they actually work pretty good when they are in good shape.(which is
allmost never these days) When I was a lad, I was racing a TR Spitfire with
a set because it was all I could afford. After making emulsion tubes,main
venturies and drilling the jets, they worked as well as any dcoe has ever
worked for me.
