I have finally fired up the new 5.0L in the TR8 and now have an ignition
problem.
When it starts up in cranking mode I'm getting good voltage to the coil and
the engine fires right up. The problem is the voltage then drops slowly to
around two volts. Once it drops below about 3-4 volts the engine quits.
I have 12 volts to the ballast resistor but only 2 volts coming out. I
suspect that this is my problem.
Does anyone have any ideas on this problem.
Thanks
Don
