I recently acquired what I thought was an MGB 1800 motor (it came out of a
'72 MGB Roadster), but a couple of sources have suggested it is not based on
the engine # and I have been unable to find this engine # on any of the MGB
reference charts I've consulted. So, I'm wondering if anyone can identify
the original source of this engine: 18V659M-L2957. And a related question;
Can I use MGB engine parts to rebuild it?
