What a response! Obviously there are lots of "Prisoner" fans out there.
THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO RESPONDED. I found a place in Nevada that had
the set in stock for a few buck less than Best Buy's price. I really
didn't want to bid on a used set. Interesting that the price for a new set
varied from the mid 70s to about $145, and some used prices were over $100.
It pays to shop.
I neglected to mention in my initial post that this is a gift for my
son, though I did enjoy the series when it first came out and still like
watching the re-runs when they occasionally appear on the local PBS
station. Heck, I don't even own a DVD player! But my son does and
he'll have the DVD disk set.
