I'll be very curious to find out how this goes? From the information I
gathered trying to import a car from Canada the safety standards are waved
after 25 years but EPA never expires. EPA documents for importing cars
specifies that a vehicle made from 1968 on must comply with the emissions
standards for the year of manufacture.
I'm looking at importing a Triumph Dolomite from Europe so I'd be interested
to find how this plays out for you? Did you use a import broker?
