Re: Spit Starting Troubles Try squirting some starter fluid into the carbs and then try starting it. If it won't at least cough and sputter with starter fluid, the problem is something other than fuel. That doesn't mean that, if it does cough, it's still not other problems in conjunction with fuel, but it will tell you if you're getting some kind of spark at about the right time.
