I haven't owned anything stranger than an Opel or Triumph but when I was
growing up my father owned weird little cars like: a Siata which I don't
remember, an NSU Sport Prinz, a BMW 600 (or 700?)Coupe, and the Swallow
Doretti which I own now. He liked little cars that went fast (relatively
speaking). He also built his own car once called the "Paisano"sp? and
the Francisco Special which were fibreglas bodies with flathead Ford
engines. I just remember my first experience with fiberglas when I was
very young was getting into the garage and playing with the fibreglas
blankets. A quick lesson. That was a terrible experience never to be
forgotten.
