First of all, I got a *down-sized* battery. It's smaller and has a builtin
handle, makes it real easy to remove it. Then I got a battery hold-down kit
with two long rods, threaded on one end and a hook on the other plus a thick
rubber strap for holding the battery down. I drilled two holes (one on each
side) into the base of the battery area for the rods, put the battery in,
put the rods in with the rubber strap over the battery and installed the
wing nuts on the rods. Works great.
