LBC:

I HATE sanding. I've been sanding for days, or so it seems. Somebody tell me
it will be worth it!

I had the GT6 primered yesterday (after the 3 weeks of sanding it took to
get the body ready). They shot 2 layers of something called "vario" (? sometype
of primer made to go over laquer), then one layer of high build, then they
baked it for 30 mins. I put on a 'show-coat' of kmart black spray, and
started sanding AGAIN last night with 180 grit. Jeese, I thought I'd got it
real smooth before they shot the primer, unfortunately, the show coat told
me I had the Colorado Rockies running across the panels. Oh well. Another
week of sanding should get it ready for a final mist of primer, then a 500
grit, then the paint. PHEW! I pray for the day I cand hand the keys to
my car with $2000 and get it back a week later with new paint.

Talking of Jag e types. There is a 67 coupe for sale here in central IL.
I looked at it last week....needs some bodywork. Motor not running (or
hasn't been ran in years). Asking $9500. I can get the number if
required.

LBC related public service announcement:

Sing to tune of raindrops keep falling on my head....

"Spotlights keep falling on my head"
"da ta dada da da da daa"
etc etc etc.....

I Have a large spotlight (weighs about 50ibs) which i use to illuminate my
garage at night....it also heats it up pretty well too. If
you shine it into the sky at night time, you can also fool light aircraft
into trying to land on I74....anyway, I digress. It used to sit
on top of my garage shelves until yesterday morning. I reached over the car
to grab a tool of the shelf....and over she toppled hitting me square on the
bonce. After I came around, I began realise I had a nasty gash on my
head (I was wondering why I had a pounding headache!). Ooooops.
Just a reminder to people to not precariously balance heavy objects 7 ft up on
a wobbly shelf.
