pgarside@acorn.co.uk (Paul Garside) identified Rover's current engine line-up
except for the 2.0 series. This was initially known as the M16 engine and this
won a Queen's Award for Technology (so has the K). This engine was then further
developed into the T series - I don't know much about this but the initial
design requirements included variable geometry induction or variable length
induction as well as a distributorless ignition system. Plenty of work for the
engine management systems types!
