I second Greg Tobin's comment. The thing you want to make sure of is
that
the face of the output flange on the transmission is parallel to the face of the
differential input flange. They can be at different heights (say, from the
ground).
I don't know how precise you have to be. I suspect a few degrees are o.k. but
not
more than five. If you aren't csreful about this, you might get a very serious
vibration. ( and you would hate to have your CD player skip all the time ;-) )
