How come all of these cars are faster and get better mileage than my MGB?
'74 MGB Speed ~75-80 (I'm too chicken to push it much higher),
0-60 <hour :-), MPG ~15. Pretty sad. I know the sidedraft Weber kills
my mileage and I don't think it helps the speed or acceleration that much.
I want V-8 :-} :-}

Of course since the car has been sitting for most of the summer these
facts are irrelevant. After getting frustated and burnt out trying to
fix the thing and then injuring myself being a weekend warrior on the
basketball court, the recent weather has left me yearning for my roadster.
It looks like it's time to head back into the garage again and fix the
darn thing.

P.s. to Mark Dodd - I still haven't been able to get email to you without
it bouncing, I have tried the following addresses:
DODD@ETD2.EL.WPAFB.AF.MIL
DODD@ELMO.EL.WPAFB.AF.MIL
DODD@EL.WPAFB.AF.MIL
plus of few other variations I can't remember. Let me know what address the
digest sends to, since even "Reply-to" has been bouncing.
