I finally got my MGA back from the guy that painted it. (2 years ! but thats another story.) It is beautiful 1992 Corvette Bright Red acrylic enamel. I noticed the same thing as Robert. The paint seems somewhat "easily chipable". I also noticed that the paint seems to be getting shinier in the 2 weeks since it was painted. The painter implied that it takes 60 days for the paint to finally reach stability. The painter is a pro so I know he painted it correctly. I guess it just takes time. Don Mathis |
