Re: driving on the wrong side of the road (right :-)

It is my understanding that the reason the British drive on the right
dates back to the Roman centurian guards.  The guards wore their arms
on their left side and could not pass one another on the right in narrow
passageways lest their weapons became entangled.  Later on, Napoleon 
changed this for whatever reason... I believe it was just because he
loathed the British so.
