Go to your local auto parts store and buy a gallon or larger size of carb
cleaner (the brand name escapes me Chemkleen or Chem tool???). The gallon size
or larger has a strainer bucket with it. This stuff works great on carb
bodies and other metal carb parts. Make sure all plastic and rubber parts are
removed or it'll dissolve them. This is the same stuff the auto-electric shops
use. Follow the directions and then rinse parts with solvent and blow all
passages out. Oh and be sure to wear gloves and such.
