I have used Bosch Platinumns in one of my GT6's for the last 5 years. I think they are the only part I haven't replaced. However if the engine is prone to burning oil they do foul quickly, they also clean up extremely well and can be put right back in. I have a set of Lodge Platinumn plugs for my TR4A they also give excelent performance. They have a traditional tip design while the Bosch plugs have ceramic insulation covering the sides of the platinumn leaving just the very end exposed. The Lodges don't seem to foul at all. Unfourtunatly you can no longer get the Lodges and if you could you couldn't aford them they must have .5g of Platinumn in each one. I have used NGK's in my other vehicles for years because I bought out a local parts store and got several cases of NGKs for pennies. Both the NGK and Bosch plugs seem to work well, the NGK's don't foul as easilly but they also don't give as good of performance as the Bosch. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Kevin Spooner The Sports Works of Greeley Specializing in Triumphs and British Sports Cars britcars@hpfckjs.fc.hp.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------- |
