   I saw the show too.  This was cannonball rolling.  Whoever took the
fewest shots to roll the cannonball 3 miles down the road was the
winner.  The commentator said it was "illegal", but the policemen looked
the other way.  Pretty neat game, kind of like long distance bocce I
suppose.
