The sensors are NOT connected to the ECU and I'm running open loop.

Actually not true in this case. If there is no signal from the O2 sensor,
the computer runs open loop. Besides, the amount of feedback control
on the lambda circuit is pretty small and couldn't richen the mixture
that much.
BTW, has Fluke come out with a more affordable DMM I can buy yet :-) :-) ?
I REALLY like the models 86/88 but they're too much $$$ for me. Sigh.
