Recently folks have been writing in about naming their cars so I thought
I would pass along the name of my '78 MGB, namely Browny (what else would
you call a russet brown MGB). I even have a prestige auto tag with
BROWNY on it.

As for the World of Wheels, the show in Atlanta was about the same with
the following exceptions. An area on the far side of the show with about
3 T series MG's, a MGA and a MGB, all looking pristine and like they
had just come off the show room floor. If I recall right, there was
also a 30's MG Midget there. In the rest off the show, someone had
a 1974 1/2 MGBGT complete with original window sticker (I couldn't
read the odometer but I suspect it was all original with very few
miles on the ticker) and a MGB that some had gone gonzo with and grafted
what looked to be a 289 or some other small block V-8 into the engine bay.
The tire were rather large in back and since they didn't protrude past
the wheel arches, I suspect the real axle had been shortened also. It
looked real "bad" and would hold its own against the other rods there.
