Speedo shops have boxes with an input and an output shaft and a stock of gears that fit them. They will make you a overdrive/underdrive box to meet your needs. You can also get them to recalibrate your speedo if you want. Worth doing. The moving the needle bit is not a good idea. Also, keep WD40 away from your speedo. I got some on mine once and it got very inaccurate. I put in a drop or two of 90wt oil to slow it back down, but it was still wrong. |
