This talk about "roadsters" and "fixedheads" reminds me of struggling
through my first Brit factory manuals (and yes Scott, I remember
two-door hardtops - a 56 Olds 98 in particular).

Most of the stuff I was able to figure from the labeled diagrams.
However, it took me some to before I stopped wondering why I was being
told to use a spanner when my wrenches did the job just fine.  And for
the longest time I was curious how in the world you were supposed to get
dirty parts clean with "paraffin".  I could just picture what a mess
that woulod make of a starter cummutator (to us Yanks "paraffin" is a
wax that is used to seal the tops of jelly jars).
