Spridgets are also at 45 ft-lb. Are the Lotus ones also 3/8-UF? The
way it was explained to me by the Winner's Circle, you can overtighten
them, not strip them, go out and do some brisk cornering and they
break. Some folks go to bigger studs, but WC says it is not
necessary, you can run 10" slicks on the stock studs if you just
refrain from tightening them over 45 ft-lb. I torque mine to 45,
tops, and then wire them.
