Where I went "wrong" was in thinking that if I bought another MGB as a parts car I could take the best of both, put them on the best body, and end up with one nice car. As it turned out, one thing lead to another and the one car got all new parts and the "parts" car ended up with the best of the old parts from both. It's a different concept of a parts car that what I had when I started - as my spousal equivalent now reminds me whenever I pick up a parts catalog.. John |
