I think you'll need to spend a lot more to get that kind of boost. The first 
thing I recommend is replacing the carburetor. I think Terry Tanner 
recommends a 650 CFM Holley. That will probably cost around $300. It will 
give you more fuel, but not too much without requiring other modifications. 
It will also run a lot better than with the Motorcraft carb.
The next biggest boost for low bucks would be headers. I am not sure how well 
any readily available headers fit on a Bricklin though.
Most other enhancements with either cost you more money or give smaller 
performance improvements.
