Chuck has a good idea.  By the way was the cop that wrote you the ticket 
carrying a gun?  If so I hope they didn't give him any bullets.  What 
criteria do they use to hire police in your town?  :-)  Look up your local TV 
stations and newspaper columnists.  As soon as the news media start asking 
the police embarrasing questions, they will probably drop the charge, and you 
should ask for an apology.  This is just too funny.
