A word of caution on interchanging Ford stuff - It will all interchange, but
during the 30 year production of the 351W many things have been changed at one
time or another. There are a number of internal engine changes (valve sizes,
cylinder head water passages, valvetrain details, a slight deck height change,
etc.) and external changes (oil pan sump and matching pickup, electric or
mechanical fuel pump, etc.). It all fits, you just have to research it some. The
closest drop in engine would be from a 75 Ford passenger car, The most fun would
be one of the crate engines that was mentioned, which would involve some
interchange (probably an oil pan and pickup).
