Subject: 75 Bricklin - Pressure Differential Warning Valve & Switch

Looked at a 75 AMC service manual from a friend and the question arose.

The master cylinder has two lines that go to a pressure differential
switch (below the master cylinder on the drivers side inner fender).

The differential switch then sends the brake line to the rear and front
brakes. At the front of the switch there is a metering valve stem that
points to the engine.

The book says "before bleeding disc brake system, the metering valve
section of the combination valve assembly must be held out with a
metering release tool - J-23774-01 - to hold valve stem out at the
correct travel with 25-38 lbs. pull"

Anybody do this? And if so, where did you buy the tool?

Thank you - George Iluk -
